While neither of the DLCs is game-changing by any means, they are still technically additional content. Scroll down below if you’d like to learn more about the two Resident Evil Village DLCs that Capcom released right under everyone’s noses.

What’s included in the two new Resident Evil Village DLCs?

Resident Evil 4 might be widely considered as the best Resident Evil game, but it’s not the best-selling title in the series. That honor belongs to Resident Evil 7: Biohazard, albeit not for long. Resident Evil 7 has sold 9 million copies so far since it was launched in 2017. However, it “only” managed to sell 3.5 million copies in nine weeks. Its successor, Resident Evil Village, has sold a million more in the same amount of time. This means that Village is now on its way to becoming the best-selling entry in the survival horror franchise after breaching the 4.5-million mark. With Capcom already confirming that more Resident Evil Village DLC is in the works, it’s only a matter of time before Village reaches 5 million in sales if not more. Now, Capcom has dropped two more Resident Evil Village DLCs. Are these the DLCs that Capcom promised? Probably not. But, they are DLCs for Resident Evil Village and you can purchase and download them right now if you want. For a little less than $1 each, you can get your hands on a Mr. Raccoon Weapon Charm and Survival Resources pack. Both don’t bring a lot to Resident Evil Village. They’re more like bonuses than anything else. But, just in case you needed another reason to boot up the game, these are as good as any.

It’s not like these DLCs are useless either. The Survival Resources Pack comes with everything that you need to survive in the latest entry in the Resident Evil franchise. This includes a first aid kit, shotgun ammo, and handgun ammo, as well as a lockpick that should come in handy for opening all those locked doors in the game. Speaking of DLCs, the other one, the Mr. Raccoon Weapon Charm, can be attached to a specific shotgun in-game. We’re not quite sure yet why Capcom decided to add this to Resident Evil Village. Maybe it has something to do with future DLCs? Or, maybe, just maybe, they just wanted to add it to the game? At this point, who knows? More importantly, who cares? Capcom just gave you two more reasons to revisit Resident Evil Village. With Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness just dropping on Netflix, now is a good time to sink in even more hours into the game.
