MultiVersus just kicked off a new season with some big announcements. Season 2 will add a lot of new content, including a fan-favorite cartoon as a playable character. Season 1 kicked off a few months ago with a surprise announcement that Black Adam and Stripe were coming to the game. Similarly, Season 2 of MultiVersus will add a new character in Marvin the Martian, from the Looney Toons cartoons. Marvin the Martian is one of the many characters that faced off against Bugs Bunny in the Looney Toons....

The series, which is based on the video game character Sonic the Hedgehog, will consist of eight episodes in the first season. It will see Sonic go into overdrive when a run-in with Doctor Eggman results in a literal universe-shattering event, and as he races through the Shatter-verse, he will discover strange worlds and enlist new friends in the epic adventure of a lifetime. Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Amy Rose, and Big the Cat are all expected to make an appearance in Sonic Prime....

With that said, a new report suggests that Netflix is looking to expand and penetrate the video game industry. Is Netflix Video Games a Real Thing? Information of Netflix’s rumored expansion comes from The Information, which cites “people familiar with the situation” as its source. According to the report, Netflix has already begun reaching out to key figures within the video game industry as they search for an executive to help usher in their video game expansion....

Netflix originally announced the series earlier in the year, after which it released a teaser trailer. Since then, the company did not release any additional information. However, that has now changed with its latest update which includes the show’s plot, release date, and trailer, alongside the previously mentioned voice characters. Netflix has a track record for releasing awesome video game adaptations in different forms whether it is live-action, animation, feature films, or television series like Arcane, Cyberpunk: Edgerunner, The Witcher, Tekken: Bloodline, Pokemon, Dota: Dragon’s Blood, Cuphead, and Castlevania....

The cast and crew of Wakanda Forever give their views on the making of the sequel and the impact that Chadwick Boseman had on the movie. The movie honors and celebrates the life of King T’Challa while the actors pay tribute to Boseman. “Audiences have embraced Wakanda and Black Panther. And Chadwick, he knew exactly what this story, what these images meant to the world,” Angela Bassett narrates at the start of the featurette....

Hollywood has tried and subsequently failed to make a film based on Dungeons & Dragons before. However, based on all that we’ve seen so far, Honor Among Thieves could make up for all of the blasphemous past attempts. The ensemble cast alone is well worth the price of admission. Now that Cyberpunk 2077 is finally worth playing with minimal issues, we’re getting reports that CDPR isn’t solely to blame for the game’s issues. A whistleblower from Quantic Lab, a third-party QA company that worked on Cyberpunk 2077, just came forward with a 72-page document sent via Upper Echelon Gamers that had very serious allegations against the company, such as: Lying about the team size working on Cyberpunk 2077 to keep the contract Assigning juniors with minimal QA experience to work on Cyberpunk 2077 despite claiming that it will assign senior staff Filing thousands of pointless bug reports to meet a daily quota of reported bugs, bogging down the development process...

The news made the rounds on Twitter initially, with a reputable industry insider who sports a good track record of reporting accurate info spoke about a fifth mainline Sly Cooper game being in development. The insider, Nick Baker, reiterated that the game is very early in development. Very early in development generally tends to translate to “years away from release, and maybe even official acknowledgement” - GTA fans sure know how that feels - and in the current climate of common game delays you just can’t bet on development pipelines anymore....

Naughty Dog President Evan Wells himself recently revealed that the first-party Sony studio isn’t working on a new Jak and Daxter game. However, if it’s any consolation, he did add that he wishes that the studio was working on a follow-up to the classic platformer franchise. What happened with the original Xbox One launch? After Microsoft burst into the scene with the OG Xbox, its follow-up, the Xbox 360, was pretty much the “better” console compared to the PS3 for several years. It took Sony’s extensive library of exclusives and a series of price cuts for the PS3 to eventually outsell the Xbox 360. But, at that point, most people had given the Xbox 360 ’the W’ as far as their generation of consoles goes....

An official job listing hints that Blizzard is working on new anti-cheat features for Overwatch 2. Cheating is a major problem in Overwatch and has been for a long time. Despite Blizzard’s efforts, hackers are still finding ways to mess up the ranked ladder and make life miserable for everyone else. As the follow-up is expected to attract malicious technologically-inclined individuals (and people willing to pay such people to get a leg up over the competition), it’s nice to know that Blizzard isn’t resting on its laurels....

Now, taking a precautionary approach considering the pandemic, Paranormal Activity 7 will be available to watch via the Paramount+ in the comfort of your own home. The last Paranormal Activity movie was released almost 6 years ago. It was apparent that the same old “homemade” camera footage format of the movie was getting old, as indicated by the declining financial performance of the franchise. It seems Paramount is determined to revive the series with the upcoming Paranormal Activity 7 by going back to its roots and adopting the original “found-footage” style....

As per the earlier leaks, the PS Plus lineup for July is the following: Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan Arcadegeddon The free Crash Bandicoot 4 will come with both the PS4 and PS5 versions, so PS5 owners will be able to enjoy all the modern niceties like “N. credible visuals, N. hanced features, and N.Sane loading times.” The latest installment in the formerly PlayStation-exclusive franchise was made by Toys for Bob and has been described as a love letter to the action platformers of the 90s....

The producers revealed this during an interview. In addition to Red Notice, the two producers are behind blockbusters led by the Hollywood superstar, Dwayne Johnson. These movies include the upcoming Black Adam, as well as Hercules, Baywatch, and Rampage. Flynn and Garcia are also executive producers on the NBC series, Young Rock, which is a sitcom based on Johnson’s life. Is the PS5 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake a huge upgrade? Square Enix first revealed details about Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade back in May. Unfortunately, back then, the publisher had a different stance regarding the PS5 upgrade of the game. At the time, Square Enix confirmed that Intergrade will only be a free upgrade to those who bought their copies of Final Fantasy 7 Remake.
